Assistance For Domestic Violence Survivors
Our nonprofit organization offers compassionate support and essential services for women who have survived domestic violence, empowering them to heal, rebuild, and regain control of their lives in a safe and supportive environment.
Utility Resources
In addition to our job placement services, our nonprofit organization proudly offers Utility Resources assistance to individuals and families facing financial hardship. We understand that stable access to electricity, water, and other essential utilities is critical for maintaining a safe and healthy living environment—especially while seeking employment.
Through partnerships with local agencies and support programs, we help connect those in need with emergency utility aid, payment assistance plans, and long-term solutions to prevent service interruptions and promote household stability.
Continued Education
Our nonprofit organization understands that education is a powerful tool for rebuilding and transforming lives. We provide continued education to anyone in the community interested in learning a skill.
Through GED preparation, vocational training, workshops, and access to higher education resources, we empower survivors to pursue their academic and career goals.
By investing in their education, we help veterans, domestic violence survivors, and at risk youth aging out of foster care regain confidence, achieve financial independence, and create a future filled with opportunity and stability.
Our Community Support
At-Risk Youth
We support youth and young adults who may be experiencing barriers at home, in school, or within their community. Through community partnerships, mentorship, educational support, career exposure, internships, school supply assistance and resource referrals, we work to connect young people with opportunities that encourage stability, confidence and long-term success.
Community Resources
COH helps individuals and families connect with trusted community partners and local resources for food, clothing, healthcare, transportation, employment, education, financial assistance and other essential needs. When we cannot provide a service directly, our goal is to help connect people with an organization that can.
Community Service
COH provides opportunities for individuals, students, families, businesses and community members to give back through volunteer and community service activities. Opportunities may include community events, donation drives, outreach initiatives, resource distributions and other projects that directly support the communities we serve.
Housing Stability
We help individuals and families experiencing housing instability connect with available housing resources and community programs. This may include referrals for rental and utility assistance, emergency housing resources, domestic violence housing support, veteran housing programs and other services designed to help individuals and families work toward safe and stable housing.
Mental Health & Wellness Resources
Through our community partnerships and referral network, we help connect individuals and families with mental health professionals, counseling resources, crisis and suicide prevention support, trauma-informed services and other wellness resources based on their needs.
