Your generous support helps us continue our mission to uplift low-income communities through financial education and empowerment. Because of you, more individuals and families will gain the tools they need to break the cycle of poverty and build lasting financial stability.
We also accept in-kind donations including medical supplies, non-perishable food items, clothing, and furniture.
Operation HUMANE
Operation HUMANE is our community outreach initiative focused on addressing food insecurity while restoring dignity and access.
Food is more than survival — it is stability.
When families do not know where their next meal is coming from, everything else becomes harder.
Operation HUMANE works to bridge that gap.
What We Do
• Distribute food and essential items to underserved individuals and families
• Partner with local agencies and community organizations
• Provide resource referrals for housing, employment, and supportive services
• Connect participants to long-term stabilization programs
Why It Matters
Access to nutrition is often the first step toward recovery and empowerment. Operation HUMANE meets immediate needs while opening doors to long-term support through Second Sunrise and other community programs.
We believe every person deserves access to food, dignity, and opportunity.

Second Sunrise Housing Project
A Safe Place to Start Again
Second Sunrise Housing Project is a transitional housing program created to serve individuals who are rebuilding their lives after crisis. We provide structured, supportive housing for displaced veterans, youth aging out of foster care, and survivors of domestic violence.
A second sunrise represents a new beginning. That’s exactly what this program is designed to offer.
Who We Serve
Veterans
We support veterans who are transitioning back into civilian life and facing housing instability. Our Veteran Services Division is led by a United States Army veteran with two deployments, ensuring our program is grounded in lived military experience and peer-informed leadership.
Youth Aging Out of Foster Care
Young adults exiting the foster care system often face housing insecurity without a safety net. We provide stability, mentorship, and life-skills support during this critical transition period.
Survivors of Domestic Violence
We provide safe, structured housing for individuals rebuilding their lives after abuse, with referrals to trauma-informed and community-based support services.

Our Program Model
Second Sunrise operates as a structured transitional housing program lasting 6 to 24 months.
Participants receive:
• Safe, stable housing
• Case management and individualized goal planning
• Employment readiness and workforce support
• Financial literacy and budgeting education
• Independent living skills training
• Referrals for counseling and community services
• Housing transition planning
Our goal is not just temporary shelter, it is long-term stability.
Our Approach
We believe housing is the foundation for rebuilding. Once stability is established, individuals can focus on employment, healing, education, and personal growth.
Second Sunrise combines accountability with compassion. Residents participate in structured planning, maintain responsibilities within the home, and work toward measurable milestones that prepare them for independent living.
Our Vision
We envision a community where veterans, young adults, and survivors are not defined by their hardship, but supported through it.
Second Sunrise exists to restore dignity, stability, and direction — one household at a time.
Get Involved
We are actively building partnerships with landlords, veteran organizations, community agencies, and supporters who believe in second chances and new beginnings.
